A little story about Denny

Denny Schuchard is a small town boy from a great big family, who's interest in cars began so far back, that he can't remember a time when cars were not a big part of his life. Denny's father was a mechanic at the service station across the street from the house where Denny grew up with his nine siblings. Denny was always underfoot and wanting to learn more about the cars. He took a special interest in old classic Chevys.

After graduating from Elgin-Millville High School in 1977, Denny went to Winona Vocational Technical College in Winona, Minnesota to learn the art of auto body restoration, finishing at the top of his class. He found employment in Rochester, MN. His experience and talent eventually landed him a job with a well known GM dealership in Rochester, where he worked for 20 years.

Denny began a business of his own in the spring of 2003. He expanded his "shop" at his country home in rural Elgin, MN to a 40' x 76' auto body restoration paradise. His body shop now includes enough room to work on multiple cars at a time, with a hoist, a storage room for paint and equipment, a painting garage, an office and more. Currently Denny has several employees.

Aside from doing customer service work, Denny works on classic cars as a hobby. Having collected several old classics over the years, Denny has always got a project or two in the works. He always has personal projects in waiting, and he almost always has a finished product ready for sale. Yet, he still finds the time to service his clientelle with speed and prescision.

Denny has a little brown sidekick he calls Teddi, who closely inspects everything that comes in and everything that goes out. Teddi has her own chair in the Denny's office.
